PURPOSE: To stably execute laser machining by preventing a shielding gas discharged from a nozzle from involving an air to be made a gaseous mixture of the shielding gas and the air. CONSTITUTION: A shielding gas 14 is discharged from a discharge opening 34a of a nozzle 34 and a machining part of an object to be machined 19 is shielded after the shielding gas 14 being supplied from the delivery opening 32 is filled in the inside of a head body 25 by air-tightly partitioning the head body 25 with a laser beam transmission window 29 so that the gas delivery opening 32 is set on the nozzle 34 side inside the head body 25. In such a way, since the interval between the head body 25 and the head body 21 is partitioned air-tightly with the laser beam transmission window 29, the involvement of the air in the shielding gas 14 can be prevented and the laser machining can stably be executed. |
