PURPOSE: To reduce opening/closing forces of a shutter, to improve sealing properties, and to expand a developer feed port, in a developer feed container. CONSTITUTION: A sealing member 4 is bonded to a surface 3a of a shutter member 3 so that a flange surface 2b of a cap member 2 is made slidable relative to the member 4. The flange surface 2b is formed into an irregular surface, in which recesses are connected to one another, thereby to prevent a shutter from being attached to the surface 2b. A flexible film is bonded to a surface of the member 4, on the sliding side thereof, the reduce an opening/ closing force of shutter. A low frictional resistance material is disposed on a shutter surface 3d. And, each of optimum ranges of property required for the recesses, the material of the member 4, the material of the flexible film, the optimum range to compress the member 4, the material of the flow frictional resistance material, the material of the shutter member are determined based on the relationships between the materials. Consequently, shutter opening/closing forces can be reduced, sealing property can be improved, and an opening 1a can be expanded so that the time required for feeding developer can be reduced. |
