PURPOSE: To obtain uncoated printing paper having excellent sizing properties and printing properties. CONSTITUTION: In uncoated printing paper containing calcium carbonate as a filler and further a neutral rosin sizing agent as an inside-adding sizing agent, a sizing press liquid containing an aqueous solution of polyacrylamide-based resin having a molecular weight of at least 35×10<4> and a styrene-acrylic acid copolymer is used as a surface sizing agent to afford the objective non-coated printing paper having Stoeckigt sizing degree of 15-40sec.
