PURPOSE: To detach a can cover easily and smoothly without moving a can body and producing negative pressure inside it, by surrounding the cylindrical part where the can body and the can cover fit together with guide cams alternately having tapered mountains and valleys which engage with each other and are detached therefrom. CONSTITUTION: A can cover 2 is fitted over a can body 1. At the same time, the can cover 2 is pushed further, making the downward mountain 2a of the guide cam B of the can cover 2 coincide with the valley 1b of the guide cam A of the can body 1. Consequently the mountain 2a is fitted into the valley 1b and the condition in which the can cover 2 covers is obtained. To separate the can cover 2 from the can body 1, the can cover 2 is turned in an arbitrary direction. As a result of this, the downward mountain 2a of the can cover 2 is separated from the valley 1b of the can body 1 and caused to run onto the upward mountain 1a of the can body 1. Then, the can cover 2 is pulled upward. Therefore, the can cover 2 is detached smoothly, and scatter of the contents of the can body, even as powdery matter, is prevented. |
