PURPOSE: To obtain a dental ceramic material having satisfactory compatibility with a ceramic base, ensuring fine appearance, high strength, high toughness and superior reliability and used as the material of a built-up layer on the ceramic base. CONSTITUTION: This dental ceramic material has a compsn. consisting of, by weight, >=83%, in total, of 67-80% SiO2 and 3-14% Al2 O3 , 0.5-2.5% B2 O3 and 6-15% one or more kinds of alkali metal oxides selected from among Na2 O, K2 O and Li2 O. |
