PURPOSE: To perform linear scanning and radial scanning of an ultrasonic vibrator in such a manner that a rotary driving means is rotated in one direction to move the ultrasonic vibrator rectilinearly and when it is rotated in the opposite direction, the ultrasonic vibrator is rotated. CONSTITUTION: In a cap 11 for forming the main body 1a of the tip part, a support table 13 where an ultrasonic vibrator 12 is mounted is passed on a linear cam 14 and guide rods 15a, 15b, a closed spiral guide groove 14a is formed on the linear cam 14, and a trace pin 16 formed on the support table 13 is engaged with the guide groove 14a. A rotary shaft 19 to which a flexible shaft 25 connected to a normally and reverse rotating motor is connected is coupled to the base end part of the linear cam 14, and the forward end parts of the guide rods 15a, 15b are connected to a support 22 through a holding member 21. |
