<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently reduce power consumption in a pressure swing adsorbing method obtaining product gas from a hardly adsorbable component by controlling the period of a pressure reducing process. CONSTITUTION: In a method for reducing power consumption, in a pressure swing adsorbing method obtaining product gas from a hardly adsorbable component by using a plurality of adsorbing columns 11 13 almost same in capacity to successively repeat an adsorbing process, a pressure reducing process and a pressure raising process, the pressures at the time of the completion of the pressure reducing process of the adsorbing columns 11-13 are set to a definite value.</p> |
