<p>PURPOSE: To improve safety and to reduce costs by standingly arranging a pole member, in which a detection unit detecting a passenger entering a danger zone excessively near to a vehicle is buried, at a side edge of a platform. CONSTITUTION: At a side edge of a platform 10, a detection device 20a detecting a passenger or an obstacle in a danger zone excessively close to a vehicle is arranged. The detection device 20a comprises a passenger detection unit and a vehicle detection unit 50. The passenger detection unit is provided with a pair of pole members 30, which are standingly arranged at an interval of 6m at the side edge of the platform 10 putting the danger zone between them, and a light emitting unit 41 and a light receiving unit 42, which are arranged in a pair of pole members 30 individually, and entrance of a passenger into the danger zone can be detected when light projected from the light emitting unit 41 is cut off and cannot be received in the light receiving unit 42.</p> |
