PURPOSE: To obtain a net-like fiber reinforced plastic porous body having excellent water absorption power, high rigidity, high ventilating property, which is optimal as a water absorbing sheet whose pressure loss is only a little. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing short filament of 5-500 pts.wt. having an average fiber length of 1-50mm is connected to 100 pts.wt. of matrix resin in a uniformly dispersed manner. A large number of narrow slender pieces 2 consisting of porous plastic having continuous pores form a zigzagged snaking shape and connect with the adjacent narrow slender pieces integrally at converting points 3 of the snaking directions so as to form a net-like shape. |
