MANUFACTURE OF INK JET RECORDING SHEET

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing an ink jet recording sheet which has glossiness of a cast-coated sheet sold in the market and excellent ink absorptivity. CONSTITUTION: An ink receiving layer provided on a support is coated with a gloss developing layer made of coating composition which contains colloidal particles having a mean particle size of 300nm or less as a main ingredient. The surface of the developing layer is previously solidified by an infrared dryer, then reswelled, brought into pressure contact with a heated mirror roll within 5sec, dried and strong gloss-treated.
