PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the motion of a blanket cylinder caused by disturbance during printing work to a negligible degree. SOLUTION: A blanket cylinder 2 is supported on swivel arms 5 on both sides of the cylinder and the swivel arms 5 are connected to the frame of a rotary printing press by pins. The swivel motion of the swivel arms 5 is restricted by the adjustable stopper device 48 on the side of the frame in order to realize the entrance to an operational position.
