The overflow unit has a T-shaped cross-section and is formed by three strips of suitable material which can be rubber, plastic or some other material which is elastic and has a specific wt. The unit firstly has two strips (2,3), one edge part (5,7) of each of which are joined to each other by gluing or vulcanising. The strip other edge parts (6,8) are bent outwards and joined to a third strip (4), again by gluing or vulcanising or other suitable method. The strip edges are fixed on the upper side of the third strip. Between the three strips is a space (9), which is filled with foam rubber or other suitable material so that the space does not function for receiving water. The unit can be easily placed on a floor so that the third strip lies snugly along the floor surface and has such a wt. that the unit locates firmly on the floor surface. |
