The present invention relates to a basic holder for light articles such as skis, ski-sticks, mouldings, pipes, etc. intended to be secured to the roof of a vehicle or some other smooth metal surface. It comprises a magnetic cloth (1) with a thin sheet of ferromagnetic material covering it. The invention is characterized in that the sheet metal (2) is cast into a holder casing of plastic (3) which extends outside the magnetic cloth (1) and sheet metal (2) and is provided at its outer ends with tongues (8) designed, when the basic holder is applied, to seal against the surface (9) with pre-stressing. |
