A plasticization apparatus is positioned between a suspension type pre-heater for pre-heating granular or powdered raw material of cement, etc. and a rotary plasticizer furnace for plasticizing decarboxylated raw material with the purpose of producing clinker. The apparatus inflows hot air for combustion from a cooler, and burns fuel separately with the rotary plasticizer furnace, to decarboxylate the fuel pre-heated by the suspension type pre-heater.
