The method of fabricating aluminium titanate ceramic includes the steps of preparing the suspension of magnesium chloride and aluminium titanate, controlling pH to be 5-9 by liquid ammonia while stirring the suspension, drying the suspension and calcining it at a temperature of 1300-1450 deg.C to obtain powder, dispersing the powder in the aqueous solution of zirconium chloride and itrium, controlling the suspension to have pH to 6-10 with liquid ammonia, drying the suspension and calcining it at a temperature of above 600 deg.C to form compound powder, and sintering the compound powder at a temperature of 1450-1550deg.C.
