FIELD: thermal physics; temperature measurement in steady state gradient media to determine heat flux in solid media. SUBSTANCE: method involves combining two thermal elements for determining heat flux in solid medium. Only single temperature measurement is made to find temperature difference, coefficient of heat conductivity of medium, and heat flux, probe temperature as function of time being recorded to determine desired parameters. EFFECT: improved accuracy in determining heat flux value, reduced time for temperature measurements. |
