FIELD: railway transport; brake systems. SUBSTANCE: disk brake has hinge joint with two degrees of freedom connecting the shoe with caliper type mechanism lever. One of axes of joint should be parallel to axis of suspension of caliper mechanism from frame, providing self-alignment of shoe at axial directed movement of wheelset relative to bogie. The other should be parallel to car axis providing self-alignment of shoe at heeling movement of bogie relative to wheelset. Hinge joint is most efficient at intersecting axes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. |
