FIELD: materials handling; reusable containers. SUBSTANCE: reservoir 1 on pallet for transportation and storage of different liquids has outer housing 2 made of intersecting vertical and horizontal bars 3, 4 of metal grid; placed into outer housing is supporting insert 5 made of smooth plastic walls for replaceable thin-walled plastic inner container 6. The latter is rectangular in plan, with rounded off corners, and it has filler neck 7 with drain branch pipe 9 stopped by threaded lid 8. Drain branch pipe serves for connecting drain cock 10. Mounted on grid housing 2 and supporting insert 5 is closing cover 11 made of plastic or sheet steel. Steel pallet 12, made to European standards in length and width, is handled by fork-lift truck or palletizer. Steel pallet carrier inner container 6, supporting insert 5 and grid housing 2. For transportation and storage in empty state, steel pallet 12 has special compartment to accommodate folded down grid housing 12 and supporting insert 5. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. |
