FIELD: contactless measurement of gas mixture concentration for ecological study of near-the-earth layer of atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: correlator has diffraction grating functioning as dispersing element, modulator made in the form of mask with slits arranged according to thin structure of spectrum of analyzed object. Mask is free to oscillate at modulation frequency along spectrum sweep. Electronically recording circuit of device has two synchronous detection channels for first and second harmonics of modulation frequency; signal picked off output of first channel is used to set mask in middle position and than taken from second channel output is informative signal.
