<p>A method of producing a large image from a series of sub-images (2) each having the same size and shape, which together form the large image without overlap comprising: printing a series of image segments (3) on sheet media, each such segment containing one sub-image and a portion of the large image surrounding the sub-image, the sub-image being accurately positioned on the sheet; cutting all of the sheets to the size and shape of the sub-image, such cutting being accurately related to the margins of the sheet; and aligning the cut sub-images in their respective positions and orientations to form the large image.</p> |
