Automated information selection system for radio and television service

摘要

An automated interest-related information selection system for an information service, image-text database service as well as for television and ratio broadcasts is targeted to enable the user to select information specific to his special interests from a very large mass of untabulated information. A categorising code is assigned to each information unit out of the given information service, and the interests of the user are coded in an interest profile system (27). The classification code of each information unit is automatically compared (30) with the codes of the interest profile system of the user by means of a selector, so that with a match between the codes of both areas, and information service corresp. to the personal interests is filtered out.
