Pressure roller for cutting oblique slots in rotationally symmetric workpieces

A pressure roller for carrying out slot-cutting processes on rotationally symmetric workpieces has two cutting edges(11,12) separated axially and between them is a groove (13) bounded on each side by a flank (111,112) of the cutting edges. The flanks are parallel and of course increase in width going radially inwards. The outer flanks of the cutting edges are initially parallel and then taper to a sharp angle in a concave arc or straight line. The angle lies between ten and thirty degrees. The tips of the edges are rounded at a radius that is from a hundredth to a twentieth of the maximum roller radius.
