Office chair back and seat synchroniser

The back support (11) is directly and pivotally jointed to both the seat (2) and the supporting frame (8), one pivot connection (6,18,16,17) equipped with a journal in a slot (17) as rotation axis (16) guide in order to superpose a displacement movement (L) on the purely pivot movement (P1). This slotted link guides the pivot connection (16,17) between support and frame and consists of a fixed slot in the frame to be traversed by a journal (16) mounted on the back support. The support is a U-profile with legs of different lengths (13,14) to both sides of an intermediate bearer (12). The seat is pref. hinged to a profile leg (14). The journal riding in the slot is sited at the transition (15) between shorter support leg and the bearer. The office chair is returned to its initial setting when off-load.
