Welding equipment to form handles on semi-tubular plastic sheeting rapidly

The machine welds carrying handles to a open-sided layflat semi-tubular plastic band (10,12). There is a handle forming station, which is followed by a welding station. External jaws are pressed onto the band, in order to weld the inset carrying handles onto it. In a significant advance, at the welding station, there are additional welding jaws (36), situated within the band, between the plastic sheeting, and working together with the external jaws.
