The windscreen wiper with wind deflector forms part of the windscreen cleaning unit for a vehicle. The opposite ends of the linkage pin (19) for the wiper extend beyond the side walls (9,10) of the main frame (1), and serve as locking projections (21) for a fixture frame (12) on the wind deflector (11). The fixture frame has a U-shaped profile in order to fit over the main wiper frame and in the region of a pivoting bearing (3). Its side walls (23) have corresponding recesses (24) for the locking projections on the pin, to create a locking fixture. At least one side has the fixture elastically releasable.
