The TV program switch comprises a tuner (T) for the TV receiver and a transmitter memory for the individual reception channels with allocated tuning data and transmitter characteristics. There is an operating unit (8) for selection of a TV test page number and decoder for the TV text signals, corresp to information of TV programme of several reception channels. A screen (4) displays a page of TV text derived from the TV text signals corresp to a list of required TV program. The changeover system comprises a microcomputer (7). A required TV program of a new channel is selectable by the operating unit in the screen displayed page. The microcomputer is programmed to energise the tuner according to the selected new channel.
