The clearance system involves using a cleaning device (21) which has a shaft (23) fitted with a channel (24). A cleaning member (29) is arranged on one flank (27). In the longitudinal direction the channel extends over the total length of the shaft. The channel is essentially V-shaped with flanks (27,28) and has a channel base (31) with a drop below an angle ( alpha ). The channel is so broad as to lead floating material into it.
