<p>This invention provides a method of hydroponically culturing plants by using a culture bed made of an inorganic or organic porous material, characterized in that a liquid fertilizer is supplied in the form of atomized particles having an average diameter of not more than 1 mm from a position above the culture bed to a rooting zone support portion thereof, and an apparatus used for practicing this method. According to the present invention, the growth of roots of plants is promoted. As a result, the growth of plants as a whole is promoted, and the yield and quality thereof can be improved.</p> |
