NONAQUEOUS SECONDARY CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

A nonaqueous secondary cell manufacturing method in which electrodes are manufactured by coating current collectors with a water-dispersed mix paste containing an active material which absorbs/desorbs lithium and one or more kinds of conductive agents composed of carbon compounds and drying them, wherein at least one of the electrodes is manufactured by using a water-dispersed mix paste containing a dispersion such that at least one kind of conductive agent together with a dispersion assistant is dispersed in water. A nonaqueous secondary cell in which at least one of the positive- and negative-electrode sheets is prepared from a water-dispersed mix paste using a dispersion such that at least one kind of conductive agent is dispersed together with a dispersion assistant. The pH value of the water-dispersed paste used for the negative-electrode sheet is adjusted to >/= 5 and </= 10. The thickness of the mix on one side of the negative electrode is 5-80 mu m and that of the mix on one side of the positive electrode is 90-180 mu m, the cell is assembled.
