The pressure pulsation reduction device has a plate (3) positioned adjacent the mouth (I') of one of the exhaust pipes (1) associated with the damper box (10) inserted in the exhaust line, operated by an oscillation drive (4), to provide a counter pressure pulsation, in dependence on the measured pressure pulsation. The sensor (5) for measuring the pressure pulsation is coupled to a regulating amplifier (6) controlling the amplitude, frequency and phase of the signal supplied to the drive, for oscillation of the plate in the longitudinal direction of the pipe.
