<p>A method of installing an impervious barrier onto a roof is described. A reinforcement textile (20) is initially applied to a roof substrate (40). Thereafter, an elastomer composition (50) is sprayed onto the reinforcement textile (20). The deposited elastomer composition (50) lifts the reinforcement textile (20) from the roof substrate (40) and embeds it into the elastomer composition (50), leaving no visible sign of the reinforcement textile (20). The processing steps are the opposite of those of the prior art. The processing is possible in view of the characteristics of the disclosed reinforcement textile, the elastomer composition, and the conditions under which the elastomer composition is applied to the reinforcement textile.</p> |
