One (16) of the hollow axles of the device has on one end a drive wheel (31) with a torsionally rigid connection to it. The wheel forms, in the fitting position of the formed parts (23,24) of the hollow axle, a tensioning roller driving a belt or chain drive. A deflection wheel (33) is mounted on a bearing journal (34) near the drive wheel on the hollow axle. It projects out of the frame (14) in the direction of the hollow axle.
