During heating or cooling each channel associated with a zone with an occupied seat is driven to deliver greater air conditioning power than the other air conditioning channels. When increased solar radiation intensity is detected by a solar sensor, the channels associated with occupied zones are driven to produce a greater air conditioning effect. A screen darkening device can be controlled to darken specific screens close to occupied zones.
