Screening device to separate small granules from crushed material

The device has a driven screening drum (10) and a lower discharge housing for the separated material. A nozzle jet (34), which is connected to a pressurised gas source, is located on the lower upward-moving section of the drum. The nozzle directs a gas jet into the drum, upwards and at an angle against the opposite drum section. The screening drum contains a deflection plate (42). This is located in the circumferential area between nozzle the jet and the crest of the drum. The pressurised gas source consists of the exhaust gases from the Diesel engine of a current generator, which supplies the energy for the breaker and the screening drum.
