The sound window wall (16) is designed as one piece with the adjacent tubular section (2, 3) of the measuring tube (1). Its inner surface (20) emanating from the flow duct (10) limits the depth (20) of the measuring tube wall, and its outer surface (15) is designed as a pocket of the measuring tube outside. The depth (20) is a longitudinal slot, which runs in the direction of the measuring section (12). The inner surface (17) is formed by the endface of the longitudinal slot. The recess (20) is achieved by the casting of the measuring tube. The measuring tube is produced as a one piece unit in a precision casting method.
