An intramedullary femoral nail (10) provides a hollow nail body with five openings (21-25) including a first group of three openings (21-23) and a second group of two openings spaced 180 DEG from the first openings. The five openings define three passageways (26, 27, 28) including two upwardly oblique passageways (26, 27) for femoral repairs and one downwardly oblique passageway (28) for recon repairs.
