<p>A ski binding has a toe piece (1) and a heel piece (101) for retaining a ski boot on a ski. The toe piece (1) has two sole holders (2a, 2b) capable of swinging sideways and stressed by a triggering spring (25). A stop (35a, 35b) is associated to each sole holder (2a, 2b) of the toe piece (1) for limiting the maximum lateral swinging motion of said sole holder against the spring force of the releasing spring (25) to a predetermined angle, so that when a sole holder (2a, 2b) of the toe piece (1) is laterally stressed, it does not release the ski boot. In the event of triggering, the ski boot is laterally released by the heel piece (101) that can be laterally triggered.</p> |
