The invention relates to an endless conveyor provided with a plurality of pivotally coupled receiving means for receiving objects to be transported, said receiving means each being provided with two plate-shaped parts including an obtuse angle with each other. The plate-shaped parts of adjacent receiving means partially overlap and are capable of sliding movement over each other. One plate-shaped part has a greater length than a plate-shaped part being adjacent thereto, seen in cross-sectional view.
