PURPOSE: To prevent stain of carbon due to a nip or breakage of paper due to pin feeding by providing a cylindrical member in which plural through holes are arranged, covering the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical member excepting the through holes by means of a covering member with large a coefficient of friction, and vacuum sucking the paper so as to feed it by the frictional force of the covering member. CONSTITUTION: When air inside a cylindrical member 1 in which plural holes are arranged is sucked through a tube 11, the inside of the cylindrical member 1 which is covered expecting the holes by means of a covering member 2 with a large coefficient of friction is turned into a vacuum condition. Under this condition, if paper is wound around the outer circumference of the cylindrical member 1, the paper is sucked by means of the cylindrical member 1 positioned in the part, uncovered by means of a partitioning member 8. Then, the cylindrical member 1 is rotated via a transmitting member 4, the paper is moved by the frictional force between the covering member 2 and itself according to the rotation of the cylindrical member 1, and following this rotation, the paper reaches the position in which the holes are covered with the partitioning member 8, so that paper sucking force decreases, and consequently, the paper is released. |
