<p>PURPOSE: To provide an umbrella rib by which fashionability can be satisfied by shielding its proper black color without causing problems of durability and strain while using carbon fiber reinforcing resin as a core material. CONSTITUTION: An umbrella rib 1 is constituted in such a way that bar-shaped fiber reinforcing resin where long fibers of carbon fibers are arranged in the lengthwise direction is used as a core material 2 and its outer periphery is covered with a fiber reinforcing resin layer 3 where long fibers of polyvinyl alcohol fibers are arranged in the lengthwise direction.</p> |
