<p>PURPOSE: To make it possible to increase the degree of freedom in design and the width of weight adjustment by using a thermally stable blank as a weight adjusting blank and forming a wood club head in such a manner that its weight is easily and accurately readjusted by changing the position of this weight adjusting blank or making the addition of the blank without impairing the characteristics of the head shell blank, such as ball hitting sounds. CONSTITUTION: The weight adjusting blank 10 consisting of a prescribed amt. of powdery or pellet-like thermoplastic resin is put in the interior 2 of a head body 1 having a previously molded hollow shell structure. The weight adjusting blank 10 is heated to its m.p. or above and is melted to be fluidized to the prescribed position in the head body l; thereafter, the melt is fused by cooling.</p> |
