<p>PURPOSE: To miniaturize a numerical controller and to reduce manufacture cost by performing the conversion from graphic data to graphic images at terminal equipment installed outside the numerical controller. CONSTITUTION: Terminal equipment 200 converts the graphic data to the graphic image data to be displayed on a screen and transfers the graphic image data to a numerical controller 100. At the numerical controller 100, the transferred graphic image data are stored in a graphic image storage means 101. On the other hand, a character data converting means 102 converts character data to character image data to be displayed on a screen, and those character image data are stored in a character image data storage means 103. An image data synthesizing means 104 synthesizes the graphic image data and the character image data and generates one of synthetic image data. These synthetic image data are displayed on a display screen 121 installed at a CRT/MDI panel 120.</p> |
