PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of an original-supplying means used for synthesized or both-sided image recording, to reduce cost and to improve operability in the case of carrying out synthesized or both-sided image recording a number of times. CONSTITUTION: The recorder is equipped with a mobil-original-scanning part 2 in the vicinity of a platen 1, the mobil-original-supplying means 7 which supplies a mobil original to the scanning part 2 and lets it pass, and an original- irradiating/scanning means 2A which moves in a scanning area under the platen 1 and the scaning part 2. Synthesized or both-sided image recording is carried out by a first image-recording operation in which the mobil original 29A is supplied from the mobil-original-supplying means 7 to the scanning part 2, to the original-irradiating/scanning means 2A which is at rest under the scanning part 2, and by a second image-recording operation in which the original- irradiating/scanning means 2A is moved to a stationary original 29B placed on the platen 1. |
