<p>PURPOSE: To completely and easily supply paper sheets by a simple and compact device by providing an interlock means for moving a back end side position regulation means to a retraction position in accordance with opening action of a cover means, and returning the back end side position regulation means to a sheet regulation position in accordance with closing action of the cover means. CONSTITUTION: In a paper sheet containing device for a copying machine or the like, in the case of supplying paper sheets to an upper main body part 6 in a closed condition, the upper main body part 6 is opened in an upward direction A. By rotation of a gear 8 in a direction B in accordance with this rotation of the upper main body 6, a rack 23 is moved in a direction D through gears 12, 13, 15, and a pinion gear 20, and a back end side position regulation means 3 is moved integrally with this move of the rack 23. In this condition, the sheets are supplied into a lower main body part 1, with their ends set along right/left end regulation means 4, 5. By closing the upper main body part 6 after supply of the paper sheets, the back end side position regulation means 3 is moved to a sheet regulation position, and tips of the sheets are applied to a tip side position regulation means 2 to be arranged.</p> |
