摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a thermally reversibly recording medium in which an image is not erased even at a high temperature, excellent image contrast can be maintained, and repeating durability of image forming and erasing is improved. CONSTITUTION: A thermally reversibly recording medium comprises a resin matrix, and a heat sensitive layer containing organic low-molecular weight substance dispersed in the matrix as a main ingredient and in which the transparency is reversibly changed depending upon a temperature. Accordingly, the softening starting temperature (TA) of the layer is between the high temperature crystallizing temperature (TB1 ) and the low temperature crystallizing temperature (TB2 ), and the TB1 is 80 deg.C or higher, and TB1 -TB2 >=40 deg.C (preferably, TB1 -TA>= 10 deg.C, and TA-TB2 >=10 deg.C).
