<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for effectively washing and regenerating filters used in a thermal decomposition apparatus for waste plastics. CONSTITUTION: This device for regenerating filters in a thermal decomposition apparatus for waste plastics equipped with a vertical rotating shaft 32 to be rotated by 90 deg. with the interval of a prescribed time, four horizontal rotating shafts 33 formed at the circumference of the vertical shaft in the radiated direction and equipped with a filter 30 at each tip thereof, a filter washing device 34, a residue removing device 35 and a filtering material filling device 36 furnished in an order according to the stopping positions of the horizontal rotating shaft 33. The filter 30 fitted in a piping 26A for returning the melt fluid of the therml decomposition apparatus for the waste plastics is taken out and washed with a produced oil heated at >=100 deg.C, the residue is removed from the filter, the filtering material is filled into the filter and then the regenerated filter is returned into the piping 26A for returning the melt fluid.</p> |
