PURPOSE: To enable adjusting time in a computer system without using a special device such as voice recognizer in a technique of adjusting time of inner clock of a computer system using time signal service by sending time information for time adjustment with a digital signal from a time information service station. CONSTITUTION: Time request part 14 of a computer system 1 connects the computer system 1 and a time information service station by way of a digital line 5 by controlling a line connector part 15 and then sends a time request command by way of the digital lime 5. In response to this, time information is sent as digital signal from the time information service station, so that a time information receiver 16 receives the time information and a time correction part 17 corrects the time shown by an inside clock 11 according to the time shown by the time information.
