<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a water-based recording ink capable of preventing printing instability due to developing coarse particles and nozzle cloggings, and excellent in preservation reliability, thus useful for ink jet printers, by incorporating an inorganic salt in an ink comprising water, a pigment and a water-soluble resin. CONSTITUTION: This ink is obtained by incorporating an ink comprising (A) water, (B) a pigment such as carbon black and (C) a water-insoluble resin such as (meth)acrylic ester-, styrene- or styrene-acrylic copolymer-based resin with (D) an inorganic salt such as AlCl3 , CaBr2 , CaCl2 , CuCl2 , H3 PO4 , KBr, K3 PO4 , LiBr, LiCl, MgCl2 or ZnCl2 . It is preferable that this ink also contain a water-soluble resin having ion-dissociable group such as a polyacrylic acid salt as the dispersion stabilizing component for the water-insoluble ingredients.</p> |
