PURPOSE: To improve work efficiency by enabling a gravity separator by a magnetic fluid to carry on continuous work. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic fluid L in a rotary drum 18 is given magnetic gradient by an electromagnet 48 to form a gravity boundary. Copper alloy CU settles out in a heavy material recovery zone 42, and aluminum alloy AL floating in the heavy material recovery zone 42 is transferred to a light material recovery zone 44 by a frame conveyor 52 and settles out there. The settled copper alloy CU is transferred upward by a heavy material scraping plate 34 and falls onto a heavy material conveyor 72 and is conveyed outside the rotary drum 18. The settled aluminum alloy AL is transferred upward by a light material scraping plate 36 and falls onto a light material conveyor 4 and is conveyed outside the rotary drum 18. Continuous work is done to improve work efficiency. |
