PURPOSE: To obtain a synthetic resin cap which can maintain the tight sealing property of a container even under a high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. CONSTITUTION: A ring protrusion 32 is provided on a liner 24 of a synthetic resin cap 20 and inserted in a mouth 15 of a container when the cap 20 is mounted on the mouth 15 of the container. Thrust length A, i.e., the difference between the outside radius of the ring protrusion 32 and the inside radius of the mouth 15 of the container, is set to 0.2-0.6mm. |
